The parking garage is located at the corner of Duval Street & Main Street

TIME 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

GAME 4:00 pm – at Raines High School

Edward Waters College vs. Columbus State University

The College Fair will include an opening ceremony in the auditorium. College and University admission representatives from around the country will be on site to discuss the programs at their schools and their admissions process.

We will also have workshops for parents and students to help them better prepare for their college experience. Registration can be done online for the workshops.

Workshops will be held at 11:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm

WORKSHOPS

“STEPS TO CHOOSING A COLLEGE MAJOR OR CAREER”

*Students should fill out the attached assessment and bring to the workshop OR go to myplan.com and enter license code BLE9HQ6V and complete the interest inventory.

“DECIDING BETWEEN THE SAT OR ACT”

*What are the differences between the ACT and the SAT?
*How many colleges will accept the SAT?
*How many colleges don’t require SAT Subject Tests if you take the ACT?

“FINANCIAL AID”

*The Jacksonville Commitment will discuss their program
*What are my financial aid options?
*Representatives will assist with preparing financial aid online (FAFSA)

NOTE: In order to fill out FAFSA forms students will need to bring their latest tax returns. You will need to complete this even to secure funding for summer school.
